HOW DOES IT WORK
Skin Prep
Your provider cleanses your skin with alcohol or acetone to ensure optimal laser performance.
Laser Application
For about 30 minutes the sapphire-tipped hand-piece is moved across your skin in sections. The 1726 nm laser targets the sebaceous glands to reduce oil production, with cooling tech to keep temperature comfortable.
Sensation
Most report a mild snapping or tingling feeling, similar to a gentle rubber-band pop. No topical numbing is used.
Post-Treatment
You may experience slight redness or warmth, like a gentle sunburn. Does not require downtime.
Aftercare
Apply sunscreen immediately and avoid makeup, intense heat, heavy sweating for 24-72 hours. Occasional mild flare-ups (“purging”) may occur, but usually subsides quickly.
